Chinese Enterprises Association in Britain Annual Dinner
Carrie Waley, CEO and David Peckham, Director of Mandarin Consulting attended the Chinese Enterprises Association in Britain Annual Dinner on 20th December 2013
As a member of the Chinese Enterprises Association in Britain, Carrie and David represented Mandarin Consulting for the annual banquet at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London where His Excellency the Chinese Ambassador, Mr Liu Xiaoming was present and was the guest speaker.
Ambassador Liu emphasised the importance of the association and how the members form an important force in forging greater relationships between China and the UK. He gave some staggering figures about Chinese investment in the UK. He pointed out that there was £13 billion US$ invested in last 2 years by Chinese investors, cumulatively more than in the previous 3 decades.
In the event, Carrie had the opportunity to mingle with fellow leading Chinese business executives from the state and private sector. It was a really enjoyable event for all.
