You may have sometimes heard terms like “executive presence” and “gravitas,” which we associate with people who command attention through their verbal and non-verbal communication in a room filled with professionals.
In the West, the importance of acting as a leader is also stressed, even if, as a student, you are just starting your career or are simply working an unpaid intern in a temporary role.
