Dear Students,
While hiring professionals and 2023 grads, (like you and your friends), appear to share a similar understanding of the 3 most critical skills for early career entrants (which is great), hiring pros (surprisingly!) rate the proportion of you who exhibit such competencies as being much lower than the proportion of you who say you do (which is not great at all). Some of the attached comparisons are particularly striking, such as the gap between the employer and student perceptions of demonstrated leadership skills and professionalism.
