Information About the Speaker

Amy-Louise Goldberg

Amy-Louise obtained a degree in French Language and Literature cum laude from the University of California, San Diego (where her junior year in college was spent in Bordeaux, France), and an MBA in Marketing and Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In addition, she earned a certificate in Executive Coaching from Baruch College.

Amy-Louise worked as a search consultant for over 19 years, placing senior-level executives in human resource roles at such firms as American Express, PwC Consulting, and Cummins Engine. She headed the human capital practice at Leslie Kavanagh Associates for 11 years.  Prior to that, she worked in marketing and advertising research with blue-chip clients including IBM, Coca-Cola and General Foods.

More recently, Amy-Louise has worked with several internationally-respected universities including Barnard College, New York University and Hofstra University, where she built a strong practice advising and coaching Chinese and other international students.  During the past 14 years, she has also coached several hundred private clients, many of whom are from outside the United States.

Amy-Louise’s commitment to developing a professional skill base among those individuals seeking global careers informs her ongoing coaching work and dovetails with her passion for helping others reach their career goals. She speaks French and Spanish and thus leverages a global perspective when working with candidates.
