Both a businessman and a performing artist, Howard has had two distinct and parallel careers which have merged into one professional stream, allowing him to coach candidates and clients through a unique blend of business insights and presentation methodologies.
The beneficiary of a cosmopolitan upbringing, Howard was born and raised in Japan and lived in Europe, the Middle East, UK, USA, South America, Australia, New Zealand and for the best part of his adult life, in Hong Kong. He speaks English, Hebrew, Swedish, Japanese and some Mandarin.
After graduating from the University of the Pacific (California) with a B.A in International Studies and Economic History, Howard began working in Europe for a market leading MNC engaged in the trade industry. He had fixed tenures in Supply Chain, Finance, Production and Sales. Project-management took him for a decade to various countries around the world, with longer stints in Uruguay, ANZ and Hong Kong.
As an entrepreneur and Managing Director of his wholly-owned trading company in Hong Kong over 2 decades, Howard employed and managed a team in charge of merchandising, China manufacturing, shipping and administration.
Passionate about the Performing Arts for most of his life, Howard is also a professionally trained actor, stage director and Public Speaking & Presentation coach.
He works across Hong Kong, China and Asia, coaching and training individuals and groups within companies on public speaking, presentation, customer relations, development of leadership skills, and events such as interview, conference, TED Talk, media, etc.
He is also a sought-after corporate role-player appointed to act in situational simulations with senior executives, particularly problem-solving in client-facing context.
With his unique combination of drama and commercial experience, Howard’s client base ranges from school and university students, young graduates, mid to senior management and CEOs.
