Jayne Mattey - Coach

Jayne Mattey

Jayne has over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered HR Professional and Coach working primarily in the global Technology sector.  She has extensive experience in a range of senior HR Business Partnering roles in multi-national corporations in IT. As a Career and Leadership Development Coach and facilitator she has many years’ experience coaching both individuals and teams.

Jayne has worked as Senior HR Business Partner and Leadership Coach for US software companies Symantec and Silicon Graphics, data management company Veritas, and US hardware companies Digital Computers and Zebra Technologies.  Jayne also held the position of Head of HR for UK training company Drivetech (now part of the AA). She has also been an HR Consultant at Compaq (now part of Hewlett-Packard).

During her career, Jayne has worked with multicultural teams at all levels across a variety of career disciplines, including finance, tax and legal, providing coaching and guidance in the skills, knowledge and behaviors required to succeed and grow.  Jayne has been actively involved in recruitment at all levels and has managed Graduate Recruitment Programmes including running Assessment Centres. She has run Top Talent programs, Management Development Programmes and coached across many areas including Cultural Diversity and Team Building.

Jayne currently works with those seeking to qualify as an HR professional. Her students include graduates employed at KPMG, BT, Royal Mail and the Civil Service.  Jayne coaches those at the start of their career as well as those seeking to increase their confidence as they develop their career. She enjoys working with students and is a volunteer at a high school, supporting students to move into higher education or work.

Jayne has a MSc in Career Management and Coaching, is qualified to deliver a range of psychometric assessments as well as MBTI Step II (Myers Briggs personality profiling).

Jayne is passionate about using her skills to support candidates to achieve their goals and ambitions.
