Romy Serfaty - Coach
A business and marketing strategist, Romy is a regional senior executive with over 20 years of experience both as an in-house expert and a consultant for private corporations, governments and IGOs.
Romy has depth and breadth of knowledge in marketing, communications, brand engagement and talent management. She has spent the past 14 years with leading global People and Risk Management Consulting firms, whilst based in Hong Kong and overseeing 15 countries in Asia Pacific.
An articulate and outgoing communicator and negotiator, she possesses strong listening and influencing skills. She has developed and mentored cross-border teams across APAC, gaining buy-in at all levels of the organization from fresh graduates to senior leadership. She is well placed to support our candidates in their career objectives having deep corporate experience and clear insights into what companies are looking for.
As Regional Marketing Leader in APAC MEA for Aon Hewitt, the Human Resources, Retirement and Health business of Aon Plc., Romy led, designed and implemented global programs at regional and country level, such as Aon Best Employers®, conducted annually across all Asia Pacific and Middle East markets, Total Compensation Measurement™ and Top Companies for Leaders. Her responsibilities included the full spectrum of marketing and digital communications, partnerships and government outreach, client-facing brand and talent management as well as conceiving, editing and disseminating of thought leadership and case studies.
Prior to joining Aon Hewitt, Romy was Head of Marketing with Willis Towers Watson in Hong Kong for 9 years, heading marketing strategy across Talent & Rewards, Benefits and Investment Consulting practices. She also held various positions as Director of Communications in private and public corporations, as well as in media and in academic and inter-governmental institutions across continents.
A native of Morocco, citizen of France and permanent resident of Hong Kong, Romy is multi-lingual (English, French, Spanish and North-African Arabic) and has extensive understanding of multicultural environments. She holds a Masters’ degree in Political Sciences and a Post Graduate degree in International Communications from the University of Paris – La Sorbonne.
