Tess Read - Coach
Tess graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Social and Political Sciences and after spending 4 years working at the Bank of England, where she was responsible for monitoring Llyods of London, and eventually returning to her studies, completing her MPhil at Oxford in International Politics.
For the next 14 years, Tess worked as a Commercial Due Diligence Analyst, providing advice to private equity clients about the feasibility of scaling up businesses. Companies she worked with included Paperchase, Reebok gyms, the Groucho Club and Closer Still Media. During this time, she also held the position of Independent Expert to the Convergence Think Tank, offering advice on broadband roll out around the UK.
Furthermore, Tess has authored nine books, most recently publishing The Secret Life of Money. Having written about and been heavily involved with business for the majority of her career, she has a wealth of knowledge to impart on our young eager candidates.
