Information About the Speaker
Luke Matthews
Luke has extensive experience in a variety of executive roles within the financial markets. These included positions as a trader, broker, sole proprietor and a principal for notable firms including Merrill Lynch (now part of Bank of America Corporation), O’Connor (acquired by Union Bank of Switzerland) and Dempsey (acquired by E-Trade Financial Corporation).
While contributing within these environments, Luke was also a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.
Over the past five years, Luke has also leveraged strong career coaching skills, in combination with financial knowledge, as a certified job search coach to a variety of senior executives within the financial industry. He has done so while working with Challenger, Gray & Christmas, a leading outplacement firm supporting transitioning clients on a global basis.
