With 15+ years of experience in prominent firms (like eBay’s internet retailer SmartBargains and $26B premier global retailer Macy’s), Bart has leveraged diverse business skills to drive P & L and manage cross-functional teams in companies ranging up to 140,000 employees.
Within a retailing/merchandising career capped by an Executive Vice President role, Bart has applied his talents to critical areas including sales forecasting, data analysis and quantitative analytics. While leading large teams within such firms, Bart has added significant value to the functions of marketing and procurement, as well.
Moreover, Bart has gained expertise in navigating the financial and cultural challenges of international business by developing relationships within China. Having contributed both within a start-up environment and as a retail-industry executive-level consultant, Bart has also become knowledgeable in the CPG and Investment Banking sectors.
